Christmas presents stolen during burglary at house in Durley

Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at a house in Durley.

Some time between 11.15am and 3.45pm on December 15, offender(s) used a garden fork to force open a door to a house in Durley Brook Road in Durley.

Many items were stolen, including a variety of electrical items, wrapped Christmas presents, jewellery and cash. A holdall was also taken from the house to carry all the items.

PC Emma Purser said: “I would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in this area on December 15.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone who has noticed any unusual or suspicious callers in the area recently.”
