Police are appealing for witnesses after a 14-year-old boy was robbed as he walked across Southampton Common with a 12-year-old girl.
Three youths approached them sometime between 11.30am and 12.30pm on Thursday, May 29th.
It is believed that one of the youths may have had a knife and forced the boy to hand over his Mobile Phone.
The robbers are all said to be aged around 18, white and around 6ft tall. Two are described as skinny with shaved dark hair. One of them wore a grey tracksuit.
The other was of medium build and had dark brown hair. He wore a black tracksuit. Police are appealing for any witnesses to the attack or anyone who saw youths acting suspiciously in the area at the time.
They are asked to contact PC Jason Cavet at Portswood Police Station on 0845 045 45 45 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
