Detectives in Portsmouth are investigating after a man fell from a passenger ferry and died during a crossing from Portsmouth to Le Havre.
Just before 3am this morning, Friday, July 11, the alarm was raised after a man fell overboard from the ferry.
The man, a 35-year-old from Swansea, was recovered and taken aboard the HMS Lancaster, where he was pronounced dead, before being transported back to Portsmouth.
Initial police enquiries suggest that the death was not suspicious.
