Press Releases
Published:
13/10/2011
Detectives searching for Leanne Turnbull, who went missing from Alton on September 14, have found the body of a woman in an area of farm land near Neatham, North Hampshire.
The discovery was made just after 3pm yesterday by members of an organised pheasant shoot.
The post-mortem examination will take place later today.
Police are now working to identify the woman and the circumstances surrounding her death, however at this stage this is not believed to be suspicious.
The family of Leanne Turnbull have been informed of the discovery.
