Appeal for witnesses after attempted burglary in Winchester

Police in Winchester investigating an attempted burglary are appealing for witnesses.

It happened between 2.20 and 2.40am on Saturday January 21 at Brassey Road.

A window in the front door of the property was smashed, along with an upstairs bathroom window smashed. It’s thought a burglar alarm frightened off the offender or offenders.

Two men were seen acting suspicously close to the address. They were both white and in the late 30s. They were wearing jeans and dark jackets.
