Appeal following attempted robbery in Andover

Police are appealing for information following an attempted robbery in Andover on Christmas Eve.

The incident occurred between 1.15am and 1.30am on Christmas Eve as a 19-year-old man was walking through an underpass beneath Churchill Way, between Colenzo Drive and Pilgrim’s Way in Andover.

The man was approached by four youths who threatened him and demanded money.

The 19-year-old man managed to run off.

The four youths are all described as white, aged 15-17 years old and wearing hooded tops and scarves across their faces.
