Appeal following assault in Farnborough

Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted as he walked home on the evening of Saturday, January 8.

The incident happened as the 21-year-old man walked along an alleyway between Sand Hill and Sedgemoor, behind Farnborough Sixth Form College, between 7.45pm and 8.15pm.

The man was approached by a group of four or five men who kicked and punched him. He required hospital treatment for cuts and bruises to his face, head, ribs and back.

Nothing was taken from the man but he lost his black Sony Ericsson mobile phone in the incident.

The victim hasn’t been able to provide a description of those who attacked him.
