On this page are some of the cases being actively investigated by detectives from Hampshire Constabulary. Some have been long and painstaking inquiries and many rely on help from members of the public who may know something that will further assist detectives.

 

Swanwick -  Operation Beck

Detectives investigating the murder of Titchfield woman Paula Poolton have released CCTV images of people they believe could be crucial witnesses.

Georgina Edmonds, Brambridge - Operation Columbian

Picture of Mrs Edmonds wearing a navy blue jumper and a pink scarfAt 5.45pm on Friday, January 11 2008, the body of 77-year-old Georgina Edmonds was found in her home in Kiln Lane by her son and a family friend. Post Mortem results revealed that Mrs Edmonds died as a result of extensive head injuries. A murder investigation was launched by Hampshire Constabulary’s Major Crime Department and officers continue to appeal for information and search for evidence to help find the person responsible for this crime.



Damien Nettles - Cowes

Damien Nettles went missing after a night out with friends in Cowes on the Isle of Wight in 1996, then aged 16. Despite many media appeals and lengthy enquiries, Damien hasn't been seen since. Police continue to appeal for information and are asking for your help in identifying key witnesses.
