Following on from the success of last year’s anti-social behaviour (ASB) campaign, a similar initiative will be running across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight this year.

Watch Your Game - Alcohol-related violence World Cup campaign

A campaign to remind football supporters to drink sensibly and stay within the law has been launched in the South Central region, covering Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Hampshire Constabulary, NHS South Central and Thames Valley Police have joined forces to urge fans to go out and enjoy themselves but to also be aware of the dangers of excessive drinking.

Prom night

If you go out and get drunk on your school prom night you could have your alcohol confiscated and be taken home by police.

If you are a year 11 pupil getting ready to attend your school prom, look out for a message in your inbox from Hampshire Constabulary.

Did you know that almost half of all reported rapes involve two people who know each other? A new campaign launched by Hampshire Constabulary is helping to raise awareness among young men, to make sure they don’t cross the line.

FAKE (Firearms and Knife Education) programme

 

Almost 70 per cent of all incidents Hampshire Constabulary's firearms officers attend involve knives and imitation firearrms.

The FAKE team have now presented to over 50,000 young people across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Winners of the police film competition are announced

Luke Armstrong from the University of Portsmouth has won the 'One Too Many' film competition.

The competition was organised by Hampshire Constabulary, Thames Valley Police and NHS South Central.

The competition sponsor, Canon, provided three top of the range camcorders for the winning film directors.

The winners were announced an an exclusive red carpet film premiere at Reading University.

  • Alcohol related disorder
