As part of the Creating Safer Communities programme, Hampshire Constabulary has a rolling calendar of proactive campaigns and initiatives based around the force's four Safers - Roads, Homes, Streets and Vehicles.
In this section are some of the cases being actively investigated by detectives from Hampshire Constabulary. Some have been long and painstaking inquiries and many rely on help from members of the public who may know something that will further assist detectives.
The Child Rescue Alert scheme works by interrupting television and radio programmes with news flashes when a child has been abducted and is at risk. Members of the public are asked to be vigilant and call 999 with any information.
Frontline, the Hampshire Constabulary newspaper, is published every six weeks. Copies are available for members of the public on the front counters of every police station in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, and most libraries should hold an up-to-date issue.
