Locally, we work with your community to find out what matters most where you live. We will work with you and our partner agencies to agree the main priorities for the area and how we will work together to tackle them. You can find the priority for each beat and what actions the teams have been taking to meet these priorities in the sections below.
We are now using the social networking site Twitter! Follow us @RomseyPolice to see details of what we've been up to.

Action we have taken in relation to your concerns:
You said: Tackle and reduce drug related incidents in and around the town centre .
We did: Patrols will be carried out in local areas that have come to our attention where possible drug dealing is occurring, and we will take robust action against anyone found to be involved in this illegal activity. Please continue to report any incidents using the 101 number so that we can continue to monitor and address these issues.

- We will be at Romsey Sports Centre (next to Romsey Rapids) between 1pm and 2.30pm on Thursday, February 14 for a cycle coding event - bring along your bike and we will mark it and register the marking, so that if it is ever lost or stolen we can return it to you if found

Priority areas
- Waverly Close – we are dealing with ongoing reports of criminal damage incidents and nuisance vehicles
- Woodley Close – we are also dealing with reports of underage drinking and anti-social behaviour in this area
Action we have taken in relation to your concerns:
You said: You were concerned about unsafe driving after a crash outside of Mountbatten School.
We did: After this incident the school requested that we observed drivers leaving the school campus and making illegal right turns out on to Luzborough Lane. We carried out an operation at the end of the school day and are pleased to say we did not have to deal with any offences; drivers were abiding by road signage and direction. We would like to take this opportunity to mention that all drivers should abide by prohibited signs – these are there for your safety as well as the safety of other road users and pedestrians. If we do witness any illegal manoeuvres, then the driver will be dealt with for the offence.
