Scouts Partnership Community Badge
To help Safer Neighbourhoods teams to engage with younger members of the community, Hampshire Constabulary is following a national project in conjunction with the Scouts Association.
As part of the project, the police are sponsoring a community badge. In order to achieve the badge, the scout group will need to carry out six hours of community work to tackle a local community priority. Although a number of Safer Neighbourhoods teams are already working with scout groups in their area, the partnership provides a more formal approach to support ongoing activity.
