Sergeant Bromell has worked for Hampshire Constabulary since March 2000. He has spent the majority of his service on uniformed front line duties.
Sergeant Bromell has been working within the East Hants district for the past seven years and has been based at all three local stations during that time.
Sergeant Bromell continues to enjoy the rewarding, and at times challenging, job of working with local residents, businesses and partner agencies to tackle the issues that matter most to the local community.
Sergeant Bromell is keen for every local resident to have the opportunity to influence community priorities and would be pleased to hear your suggestions either via the East Hants SNT mailbox or the Your Voice Counts link. The community priorities will influence what issues/areas local officers will focus their attention on.
Current initiatives
Hampshire Constabulary is currently focussed on targeting offenders committing serious acquisitive crime (burglary, robbery, theft from and of motor vehicles) and the local Safer Neighbourhood Teams are playing an active role in this. Additionally local officers remain focussed on tackling anti-social behaviour which can disproportionately increase the fear of crime. Areas of specific concern will continue to be monitored and patrolled by local officers who will also being looking for opportunities to increase community engagement.
