The Safer Neighbourhoods Team responsible for policing in Grove is:
PC Amanda Wallis and PCSO Danielle Joyce (pictures coming soon)
I am based out of Basingstoke Police Station.
Locally, we work with your community to find out what matters most where you live. We will work with you and our partner agencies to agree the main priorities for the area and how we will work together to tackle them.
The priorities for Grove are:
- Anti-social behaviour around the Queen Mary's College area
-
Littering around St. John's School
- Anti-social behaviour around Horwood Gardens
These are the priorities that people in your local area have agreed with the Safer Neighbourhoods Team. You can influence these priorities by contacting your team, attending a meeting or speaking to members of the team when you see them out and about.
Actions we have taken in relation to your priorities
You said: Anti-social behaviour the Queen Mary's College area
We did:
We have taken part in various career days that have been held at the college and we have more upcoming events in the near future. The college are currently planning a cycle safety week, during which we will be offering advice and cycle marking.
You said: Littering around St. John's School
We did:
We have been advised that the school ground of St Johns has been used by youths in the evenings and weekends, leaving litter. We have therefore stepped up our patrols and continue to monitor the site for any anti-social behaviour.
You said: Anti-social behaviour around Horwood Gardens
We did:
Horwood Gardens has historically been known as a hotspot area for large gatherings of youths causing anti-social behaviour and nuisance to the residents. In recent weeks police have targeted their patrols in this area which has resulted in alcohol confiscation and dispersals. Patrols are set to continue throughout the summer.
If you are affected by any anti -social behaviour we urge you to report it via 101 or 0845 045 45 45.

How you can take action
How well could you describe your bike?
It only takes a few seconds to steal one, so keep a record of your cycle details, and keep it secure to deter thieves.
- Mark your bike with your postcode and house number Keep a note of the bicycle frame number.
- This will add identification should the cycle be recovered by the police.
- Take a photo of your bike on your mobile or with a camera and store it in a safe place. This will help us return your bike if and when it is recovered.
Please complete the attached Bike Safe form, email it to us and store the details safely.
