The Safer Neighbourhoods Team for Tadley and Pamber is:
PCSO Peter Coe, PC Mark Pullman, PCSO Darrel May and PC Dean Stickland.

We are based out of Tadley Police Station.
Tadley is a town that lies midway between Basingstoke, Newbury and Reading and the policing boundary borders the areas of Ministry of Defence (MOD) and Thames Valley Police (TVP).
The Tadley beat team have delivered 1,000 Your Voice Counts leaflets in Tadley asking people what beat priorities they would like to see over the next 12 months.
Every four weeks officers will deliver 100 Your Voice Counts leaflets to different parts of Tadley and Pamber Heath to monitor whether the beat priorities should be changed.
Locally, we work with your community to find out what matters most where you live. We will work with you and our partner agencies to agree the main priorities for the area and how we will work together to tackle them.
The new community priorities currently are:
- Preventing speeding vehicles in Tadley and Pamber
- Anti-social behaviour in Tadley and Pamber
- Prevent thefts and burglaries from garages, sheds and outbuildings
These are the priorities that people in your local area have agreed with the Safer Neighbourhoods team. You can influence these priorities by contacting your team, attending a meeting or speaking to members of the team when you see them out and about.

You said: Preventing speeding vehicles in Tadley and Pamber
We did:
The Tadley Safer Neighbourhoods team carried out speed enforcements in New Road, Rowan Road and Pamber Heath Road. In total 24 motorists were stopped and dealt with according to the speed that they were travelling. They were either verbally warned, issued with a fixed penalty notice (£60 fine and three points) or required to attend driver awareness courses.
If you have a particular stretch of road in Tadley or Pamber which is either a 30 or 40 mph speed limit and you think that motorists are exceeding the limit dangerously then please contact us.
You said: Anti-social behaviour in Tadley and Pamber
We did:
Over the month of May there were 18 reports of rowdy and inconsiderate behaviour. These varied from individuals causing damage to equipment at Tadley Skate Park, littering disposable BBQs in Tadley Common, to reports of individuals dealing drugs.
We patrol many locations where youths gather to record their details, search for prohibited articles and move them on if necessary.
With spring and the lighter evenings approaching, schools and parents will be asked to spread the word that we will not tolerate anti-social behaviour from youths and that parents should be aware as to where their child is at all times during the holidays and evenings. We have highlighted the message to schools and parents alike that anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated in Tadley and Pamber Green.
You said: Prevent thefts and burglaries from garages, sheds and outbuildings
We did:
Over the last 30 days we have seen an unfortunatte rise in burglaries to non-dwelling premises, which have included ten forced entries to sheds at Rowan Road allotments as well as three garages that have been broken into. We urge members of the public to contact the police immediately on 101 if any vehicles or people are seen acting suspiciously.
We are also keen to hear from members of the public who have experience of people calling at addresses asking for scrap metal. A vehicle registration number is always useful althrough we do not advise that you put yourself at risk.
Other issues
The Tadley Safer Neighbourhoods team have received three separate reports of burglary dwellings and burglary other than a dwelling. These are very rare in Tadley, however please make sure that you always leave your property secure when you are out.
You should double lock your doors at night and keep your vehicle keys in a safe place and not lying on the kitchen work top, or on a hallway table. If you have sheds and garages, please make sure these are locked and if possible fit shed alarms and security lighting to your properties.
The burglary in a dwelling occurred on Pleasant Hill. The burglaries other than a dwelling occurred on Burnham Road and Aldermaston Road.

How you can take action
Meet the team
Beat surgeries
The Tadley beat surgery is held every Wednesday between 1pm and 3pm in the Café in Sainsburys, Mulfords Hill, Tadley.
Please pop along and see them if you have any immediate issues that you require advice on or if you just want a chat.
Although we do everything humanly possible to make it, occasional high operational demands mean that we may not make it on the day.
