Community meetings in Rural East
The Rural East Safer Neighbourhoods team and partner agencies hold regular community engagement meetings. These include:
School drop-in session
PCSO Katy Berry is holding a drop-in session at Newchurch Primary School between 8.30am and 10.30am on Friday, January 13, 2012. Police, Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service and Isle of Wight Council Trading Standards will be there. The idea of the event is for parents and children drop in to the school with any concerns of issues that they may have for the relevant agencies, Police will be offering crime prevention advice and the opportunity to have any property marked, i.e. new bike, mobile phones etc.
Beat surgeries
PCSO Katy Berry holds beat surgeries on the first Tuesday of every month at Newchurch Parish Hall between 9.00am and 10.00am, at Wootton Bridge Help Centre between 10.15am and 12.00pm, and at Binstead Community Centre between 12.30pm and 1.30pm.
