Inspector Sally Terry says “Our aim is to deliver neighbourhood policing to the area whilst providing the highest quality of service. My team will aim to reduce the overall incident rate of crime by targeting the root causes i.e. alcohol and drugs.
“I encourage my Neighbourhood officers to be familiar and accessible to their local community; they are designated to one of four specific Neighbourhoods to assist this.

The four Safer Neighbourhoods teams cover the following areas:
All 4 teams are headed by a Sergeant and include Constables and Police Community Support Officers who work with members of the Special Constabularly and Hampshire County Councils Accredited Community Safety Officers.
The teams engage with the community to find out what concerns them and then they work with partner agencies and the communities to reduce or solve the problem.
