Inspector Kevin Stanswood is responsible for policing in Gosport East.
Inspector Stanswood says: “I am wholeheartedly dedicated to making Gosport East a safer and better place to live for all its residents. Crime rates in the area are falling, due to the dedication of the officers who work tirelessly to combat criminal activity wherever it occurs.
"I will continue to focus the efforts of my teams on reducing anti-social behaviour and violent crime (especially where linked to alcohol abuse).
"I am also taking the opportunity to involve the local community in solving the problems within that community.
"Partnership working is a key element to ensuring success and I will be working closely with Gosport Borough Council, housing associations, residents groups and businesses to enhance the quality of life for all.
"Gosport East has continued to reduce crime over the last 12 months and has achieved most of the targets set by the local and national authorities. This work will continue to make Gosport a safer place for all to enjoy."
