Hampshire Constabulary welcomes applicants from prospective employees with a disability.  We are committed to ensuring that all applicants with a disability who meet the minimum criteria for a vacancy, will be offered access to the selection process.

Applications are invited from any internal or external candidates wishing to put themselves forward for consideration of appointment. However, external applicants should note that selection to the role will be considered in the following priority order: Hampshire Constabulary redeployees in the first instance and then existing Hampshire Constabulary police staff, this is to protect the rights of redeployees and to help to minimise compulsory redundancies for police staff. Where we are unable to successfully appoint from these priority groups and vacancies remain, only then will applications from external candidates be progressed. Please continue to apply in the normal manner, but be aware of our new priorities.
