Special constables undertake a whole range of duties supporting the regular force in policing Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Some crew our launches in the Solent while others assist the Roads Policing Unit patrolling the highways and motorways across the region.
Police staff provide vital support to the provision of our service. There are literally hundreds of different roles filled by police staff. Our jobs are as diverse as our community, ranging from data inputters to crime scene investigators. The sheer scope of careers within our force is immense.
