Vacancies & Recruitment

With more than 6,000 staff, Hampshire Constabulary is one of the region's largest employers. Around a third of these employees fulfil police staff roles, supporting our frontline officers.

Police Officers

Hampshire Constabulary are recruiting for Police Officers throughout 2010. We will be holding recruitment events within the force area and if you wish to apply to become a Police Officer with Hampshire Constabulary you will need to book a place at one of these events. Applications will only be issued to and accepted from people who have attended these events.

We are shortly going to be holding more recruitment events.

For details of recruitment events and how to book a place please click on the link Police Officers.

Transferees

Unfortunately we are unable to accept transferee applications at the present time. Please check our website in February for information regarding transfer applications from detective constables and police constables (once probation completed).

Police Staff

Police staff provide vital support to the provision of our service. There are literally hundreds of different roles filled by police staff. Our jobs are as diverse as our community, ranging from data inputters to crime scene investigators. The sheer scope of careers within our force is immense.
