Police Community Support Officers

Police community support officers (PCSOs) perform a high visibility patrol, providing reassurance to the communities they serve. PCSOs complement the work of police officers by focusing predominantly on lower level crime, disorder and anti-social behaviour.

Can you spare some time to help local policing teams in your area?
Special Constabulary
Special constables undertake a whole range of duties supporting the regular force in policing Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Some crew our launches in the Solent while others assist the Roads Policing Unit patrolling the highways and motorways across the region.
Independent advisory group members

Local and specialist independent advisory group (IAG) members help us develop a better understanding of our communties by questioning or challenging police practices.
Employer Supported Policing (ESP)

ESP is a scheme where employers support their staff to volunteer as a Special Constable.
