Crime Prevention Officers in Hampshire
Hampshire Constabulary has 16 Crime Prevention Officers (CPOs) and five Crime Prevention Design Advisors (CPDAs) across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
In their role the CPOs and CPDAs undertake a variety of duties in the areas of Crime Reduction and Community Safety. These Officers work very closely with the local authority Crime & Disorder Partnerships and the Business and Commercial sectors. All the Officers have a great deal of experience and a wealth of knowledge within the field of crime reduction.
In addition the CPDAs will work with local Planning Departments, Architects and Developers to promote the ACPO Secured by Design Award and the ACPO Safer Parking Award.
