Business & Property Services is responsible for a broad portfolio covering six specialist areas of business activity, namely estate, procurement, reprographics, risk management, insurance, and the management of two key sites (PHQ and Netley Support / Training HQ). The overriding objective of the Department is to help ensure that property, facilities, commodities and services are available to satisfy the requirements of frontline policing, having regard to financial, legal, risk and best practice considerations.

Richard Croucher- Head of Financial Services
Financial Services staff are responsible for financial advice and information to the Constabulary, accounting services such as government returns, preparation and monitoring of budgets, ledger maintenance and monitoring and the provision of financial training and support to the Force. The staff also include those in the Payroll section and those overseeing the operation of the Force’s computerised financial systems.
Craig Southin - Head of Financial Accounting
Financial accounting staff are responsible for the payment of suppliers, debtors, petty cash, banking issues, treasury management, grant returns, VAT, audit liaison and the production of the statement of accounts. The staff in the department are also responsible for the development and monitoring of Force financial policies and procedures. Staff will be happy to deal with queries on any of the above e.g. debtors invoices issued, creditor payments made or information on past spending.

Working to the Director of Finance, responsible for all aspects of the Constabulary's vehicle fleet, including the operation of four in house vehicle workshops.
