Assistant Chief Constable (Crime and Criminal Justice)
ACC David Pryde has responsibility for the portfilios of Crime and Criminal Justice. Prior to this he was appointed ACC Specialist Operations in September 2008, having joined Hampshire Constabulary as ACC Operational Services in April 2007.

ACC Pryde's force responsibilities include:
- Crime Operational Command Unit (containing Intellgence, Major Crime investigation, Scientific Services, Serious Crime Review, Serious and Organised Crime Investigation, Specialist Investigations and Special Branch.)
- Criminal Justice (including victim and witness care, Central Ticket Office, Youth Offending, Prosecution and criminal justice partnership working).
